Designing a Modern Website for
Clasa de Canto
Clasa de Canto is a music academy in Moldova offering singing lessons, group activities, and piano classes. The goal was to create an engaging online presence that attracts students and showcases the academy's offerings.
Shrift collaborated with the Clasa de Canto team to design and develop a modern website built in Next.js, with Supabase for the database and Clerk for authentication. The site includes an admin panel for managing students, courses, and content, highlighting services, integrating multimedia, and encouraging interaction through auditions and playlists.

The academy needed a modern digital presence that could communicate its brand, simplify the enrollment journey, and showcase student outcomes without overwhelming prospective clients.

Our process started with understanding the academy's needs and target audience. We analyzed content requirements for lessons, schedules, and promotional materials.
Key features were planned for both frontend and backend, including user-facing elements like navigation and multimedia, as well as an admin panel for content management. This ensured a complete solution for managing students, courses, and dynamic content.
The focus was on creating an intuitive experience that highlights the academy's passion for music education and performance.

- Interactive Navigation: A user-friendly menu allowing easy access to lessons, group activities, and contact information, enhancing site usability.
- Spotify Playlist Integration: Embedded playlists to showcase student performances and inspire visitors, directly linking to music content.
- Call-to-Action Sections: Prominent buttons and forms for free auditions, encouraging user engagement and conversions to enrollments.
- Student Personal Pages: Each student has a dedicated page showcasing their music videos, photos, and achievements such as medals and certificates, highlighting individual progress and talents.
- Admin Panel: A comprehensive backend interface for admins to add new students, manage projects, achievements, and medals. Create and update courses, adjust prices and availability, all powered by Supabase database and Clerk authentication.
Results & Impact
The new website led to increased visibility and user interest in the academy's programs. The responsive design and integrated features streamlined the user experience, facilitating easier access to information and auditions.
