Openmoney is a platform that provides transparency over public sector spending in Moldova. It allows citizens to see how public money is being spent and to hold public officials accountable.
After a review of the current website and analysis of the new data sets, Shrift started working with the openmoney team to transform this data into accessible resources on the platform.

Our design process began with analysis of the data sources in search for the best statistical data we could bring to the openmoney platform.
We assesed datasets for relevance, clarity, and civic impact—screening population demographics, education stats, public spending, crime rates, and infrastructure metrics.
This ensured the platform focused on information that matters most for users: public spending patterns, decision makers’ activities, and key local concerns.

Data screening led to a sharp feature set.

The mobile version was a top priority, since analytics showed it was the platform’s most-used channel during research.

The redesigned platform resulted in a 30% increase in user engagement. The new design system helped the team to ship this improvements in record time.

Our small idea got transformed into a useful product that helps our users in a multitude of scenarios.
The website is better than we could imagine & the interaction with the team was at high level also.
